Program Description

Description

Qigong is a mind/body, self-care practice from China. It coordinates gentle movement, relaxed breathing and meditation with self-massage to energize the body. Qigong translates as breath work or energy work – cultivating energy and storing it for body rejuvenation.

In this 4-week session we will learn the foundations of a regular Qigong practice including gentle movement, self-acupressure, lymphatic massage for immune strengthening, guided meditation and sound healing for deep vibrational healing. Every practice is taught at the beginner level and accessible to all ages; either standing or in a chair. Learn simple and empowering ways to take your health into your own hands; improve mood; reduce stress; strengthen balance and sleep. Come with a smile and be supported with like-minded individuals.

Julie Moffat has been studying qigong for more than 20 years.  She guides clients to reconnect with the present and trust the unknown, often transforming old anxiety patterns into calmness. She hold certifications from the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi and Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong, and has studied with renowned teachers worldwide.
