Support Group for Parents of Children with Learning Differences
Connect. Share. Thrive.
Are you navigating the challenges and joys of raising a child with learning differences such as ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, processing disorders, or social and emotional difficulties? You don't have to go it alone! Join our open, supportive, and understanding group to connect with people who truly get it.
► Connection: Meet and share experiences with parents who understand the daily victories and struggles.
► Support: Find an empathetic ear and a community that offers encouragement without judgment.
► Advice: Get practical, "been-there, done-that" wisdom on everything from IEPs and accommodations to managing homework battles and celebrating strengths.
► Resources: Discover valuable local and online resources.
Meet Bonnie Rotelli, the Smart Kids with LD Parent Support Manager, a former member of the Fairfield Board of Education and a member of the Special Education PTA Executive Board as well as the parent of a young adult with learning differences. Ask questions and gain insight from her years of experience, and find real-world support from parents who have made this journey before you.
Registration is required and is separate for each event date. Space is limited. Registration opens three weeks before each event date. These events are co-sponsored by the Fairfield Public Library.
