Program Description

Description

Step beyond the Milky Way and into the vast universe beyond. In this talk, we’ll follow the light from distant galaxies to uncover how astronomers piece together the story of an expanding cosmos - from the lives of stars to the earliest moments after the Big Bang. Along the way, we’ll explore some of the universe’s most striking phenomena and the clues they leave behind, revealing how observation, experiment, and curiosity allow us to understand a universe far large and older than we can imagine.

Dr. Varghese "VJ" John is an accomplished physicist and technologist with a deep commitment to scientific research. With a passion for education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), VJ has dedicated himself to teaching and inspiring a diverse range of individuals.
