Description

Learn to code and change the world this spring! Together we will focus on sisterhood, code, bravery and impact. In this club you will see yourself as a computer scientist, learn essential coding concepts that form the basis for all programming languages, and you will learn how to be persistent in the field of computer science and related fields.

Girls Who Code is an international organization leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills they’ll need to pursue 21st century opportunities.

For girls in grades 3-5. Registration is required and is for ALL 4 weeks. Registration opens three weeks before the date of the event. The event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. About two hours before the class, participants will receive an e-mail with the event’s unique Zoom meeting ID information, which they will need to join from home.

Pickup for the take and make component of the program will be the Wednesday before each program at the Main Library between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
