This peer-to-peer / networking workshop series is a follow-on to our “Simple Steps to Starting a Business” workshop series, which is designed for someone who is either planning to start a business or is looking to grow an existing business.
These Entrepreneurial Cohort meetings are designed to encourage networking amongst the entrepreneurs and enable learning in a safe yet practical way.
The following will be covered:
- Common financial blind spots for early-stage companies
- Essential financial metrics beyond basic P&L
- Financial decision-making frameworks
- Questions to George Marshman and other attendees on developing a growth-oriented financial mindset
- Cohort Peer-to-peer information exchange
- Identification of future business topics for this work-shop series facilitated by SCORE mentors

George Marshman is a serial entrepreneur in finance, healthcare and real estate. In addition to launching businesses, George serves as an investor and advisor to early-stage companies in the asset management, Fintech, and hospitality industries. He is a certified business mentor with Fairfield County SCORE.
