Program Description

Description

Want to make your very own book? Join local award-winning authors Caroline and Katherine Brickley to learn how to make your very own picture book over the course of a 5-day picture book writing camp. Classes will consist of engaging lessons, learning activities, games and more. By the end of the program, children will have completed a picture book to be added to a special spot in the Library.

For children entering grades 3-5. Registration is required and is for the entire 5-day session. Please only register for either the 5-day session at the Main Library (7/24-7/28) OR the 5-day session at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library (7/31-8/4) as they are the same classes offered two times. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the events. Space is limited. Registration opens at 9:00 am on Monday, July 10.
