Program Description

Description

Join us to learn some techniques to help you turn into an outstanding debater and public speaker! In this four week club, you will prepare a debate, research evidence, write rebuttal briefs, deliver speeches and refute opponents! You will learn facts about an animal of your choosing, and be paired with someone else. You will debate on who would win in a battle between the two animals based on your research! If you need some inspiration before attending, check out one of our Who Would Win? chapter books.

This event will be *IN PERSON/OUTSIDE* at the Main Library (1080 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824). Caregivers must remain on the property during the program.

For children entering grades 3-5. Registration is required and is for ALL 4 weeks. Space is limited. Registration opens Monday, June 7.

By registering for this program, you agree that everyone attending in your family unit, ages two and up, will wear a mask and practice social distancing. It is recommended that you bring a blanket to sit on.
