Program Description

Description

Join us to create a game using Scratch, a block based visual coding language. We will learn how to make characters jump, create moving obstacles, keep score, and stop the game! No prior coding experience required. Each child must have a Scratch account prior to the class. You can create an account at https://scratch.mit.edu/

For children in grades 3-5. Registration is required and is for BOTH classes. Please only register if you are able to attend both classes. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens on Wednesday, April 6.

In order to provide the best learning environment for all participants we are unable to allow access, regardless of registration, if you arrive 10 minutes after the program starts.
