Description

Make your own personalized fairy light illuminated banner using the Library's Glowforge laser cutting machine! You will be able to design and draw a series of pictures and watch how the Glowforge etches your designs onto acrylic ornaments! Once your pieces are printed, the ornaments will be attached to the LEDs on a fairy light string, illuminating your artwork with an exquisite glow.

This technology uses laser light to cut. Participants will be required to wear goggles while observing how the machine cuts the wood and etches the acrylic.

For children entering grades 3-5. Registration is required and is for BOTH class dates. Please only register if you are able to attend both classes. Attending both classes will ensure your child takes home a finished product. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, June 16.
