Description

Join us for a special two-day, artist-led studio workshop. Mixed media artist Melissa Dias will share her techniques for creating bold, fun, colorful art on canvas utilizing a variety of acrylic paints and other found objects. Teen will work on creating their own one-of-a kind work of art in a relaxed setting with the support and guidance of an innovative and inspiring artist who believes  there is no right or wrong way when it comes to art.  

Presenter Melissa Dias is a Connecticut-based artist. She takes an out-of-the box approach to her art and is known for her expressive colorful style.  Find her art under the  tag is Said-Tra (Dias- Art backwards) on Instagram. 

Please wear crafty clothes and footwear that you don’t mind getting paint on. 

Registration is required.   Participants are expected to attend both sessions.

Open to individuals entering grades 6-12 in the fall.
