Dr. Amanda Craig, PHD, LMFT, will discuss her book, Who Are You & What Have You Done with My Kid?, which outlines how to keep our kids close while cultivating the confidence they will need for their teen years and beyond. Topics covered include why the tween years are among the most critical developmentally and how to emotionally connect with our kids while their brains are changing, while they are feeling and experiencing emotions they do not recognize, and while they are learning how to express themselves.
Recommended for parents and caregivers of tweens (9-12 years of age). Registration is required. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, March 30.
Group sessions will be offered on Thursdays, April 27, May 4 and May 11 at 6:30. Please see the Calendar of Events for details and to register.
