Come relive your childhood in your favorite borough — the Bronx. This presentation will include over 450 vintage slides and video clips of the Bronx during the decades of the 1940s through the 1960s, with dozens of Bronx celebrity interviews. Some of the highlights include looking back at The Grand Concourse; Bronx movie theatres, including the famous Loew’s Paradise; Orchard Beach, better known as the Bronx Riviera; Freedomland USA; and Yankee Stadium. Join us for this fun walk down memory lane.

Presenter: Steve Samtur is the editor and publisher of “Back In the Bronx” magazine, a retrospective of the Bronx in the decades of the 1940s through the 1960s. Steve has written three books, produced several DVDs, and developed a Bronx Board game.
