Program Description

Description

Pyrography, the art of burning designs into wood, has been practiced for centuries all around the world.  It was particularly popular in the United States in the mid-19th century, but now we are bringing it back!  Learn some basic wood burning pen techniques then create your own custom wood plaque.   As a bonus, participants of the Teen Summer Challenge will receive 25 points for attending this crafty event   Registration Required.  Please note, this will be an outdoor activity with a rain date scheduled for July 17.
