DESCRIPTION:"Big Emotions, Big Reactions: Understanding What Your Chi
 ld Is Really Communicating (Ages 4-8)" focuses on helping parents un
 derstand what is often underneath behaviors like meltdowns, shutdowns, and
  big reactions during transitions. During this workshop, we will explore w
 hy these moments happen from a developmental perspective and how behavior 
 is often a child’s way of communicating they are overwhelmed, their frus
 tration, or the skills they are still developing. Parents will leave with 
 a clearer framework for understanding their child, along with practical st
 rategies they can use in everyday situations like morning routines, transi
 tions, sibling or peer conflict, and emotional outbursts. This workshop i
 s intended for parents and caregivers of children ages 4-8. Registration i
 s required. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, April 16. A
 bout the presenter: Madison Friedman is a Child Development & Self-Reg
 ulation Specialist. She has a Master’s in Education and Human Developmen
 t with a concentration in Special Education. She is the founder of Elevate
 d Minds Growth Center in Fairfield County where she works directly with ch
 ildren ages 3-10 and partners with families to build the foundational skil
 ls that make everyday life feel easier. This includes emotional regulation
 , social dynamics, confidence, and executive functioning.
