Description
Join us for a talk with speech language pathologist Nancy Hastings, MA, CCC. The topics she will be presenting on include: ways to stimulate and expand your child’s early speech and language skills; ways to elicit early vocalizations, words and phrases; and examples of how feeding and drinking abilities impact speech production. Her focus will be on children who are not yet talking or are just beginning to use words (6 months to 30 months of age).
Her lecture is designed for parents and caregivers. She will be giving the same presentation at the Main Library (October 16) and the Fairfield Woods Branch Library (November 14). Registration is required. Space is limited. Registration opens three weeks before each event date. Register in-person, online or by calling the Library.
