Week Calendar

This tactical program targets a different set of job search skills and strategies each week. Pick up tips on interviewing, networking and resumes; something new each week.  Facilitator: Ann Wright has corporate HR experience with an extensive range of industries and has served as Assistant Director of Career Development at Yale School of Management MBA program. She has provided 1-on-1 counseling for hundreds of clients at Fairfield Public Library and in her private practice.

The Main Library hosts 20-minute, one-on-one counseling sessions with a career coach each week. Bring your resume and your questions. Same-day sign up is available at the Information Desk or by calling 203-256-3160. First come, first served; space is limited. Whether you are an advanced knitter or just learning, this is a great group to join. Crocheters are welcome, too. Individual projects, group projects, and friendships are knit together each week.

Grades 6 and up. Join us in the downUNDER on Mondays for a hands-on activity guaranteed to get you thinking.

Grades 6 and up: Every Tuesday we will be setting up the X-Box for group gaming or use one of our laptops from our mobile computer lab to game online with a group of your friends. Or if digital games aren't for you, try your hand at one of our board games.

Grades 6 and up: On Wednesdays we craft! Materials are available on a first-come basis.

Grades 6 and up:  Think you know it all? Prove it and join us in the downUNDER on Thursdays for our Kahoot trivia challenge. Bring your own device or use one of our laptops. Laptops available on a first-come basis.

For Teens Grades 6 and up: The downUNDER is now open as a computer lab on Fridays. Please note- the space will be solely dedicated to using computers and there will be no additional activities in the room on Fridays.

This is a terrific sewing group led by the fabulous designer Jennifer Butler! Bring your own project to work on or grab a pattern from our files. For ages 12 and up, but anyone under 14 must be accompanied by a parent.
