Description
The Seton Hall Law FINRA Investor Advocacy Program strives to educate individuals on financial literacy by hosting virtual presentations titled “Financial Literacy—Becoming an Informed Investor.” Specifically, our presentation will discuss:
(1) Certain challenges facing investors such as common finance terms and how to understand net worth
(2) How to avoid investment pitfalls by asking the right questions to investment professionals
(3) How to use credit cards by assessing interest rates and comparing rates of return among investments.
Stephen Moran is a third-year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law. Before attending Seton Hall, he majored in Justice Studies at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. At Seton Hall, Stephen is a Comments Editor on the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. This past summer, he worked as a summer associate at Connell Foley LLP in Roseland, New Jersey. After graduation, Stephen will work as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephanie Ann Mitterhoff in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. He will join Connell Foley as an associate after his clerkship ends.
Michael Fasciale graduated from Fairfield University (‘18), where he received his B.A. degree. Michael is currently a third-year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. At Seton Hall, Michael is the President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society and an articles editor on the Seton Hall Law Review. After graduating from law school, Michael will serve as a New Jersey Superior Court appellate judicial law clerk for Judge Carmen Messano, P.J.A.D. Thereafter, Michael will be joining McCarter & English as a full-time associate.
