Part 2: Advanced (Everybody Binge Now)
You’ve been streaming for a while now. The past few years have given you an avalanche of new options. Come prepared with your questions and your own knowledge base to share. Topics we will absolutely discuss include:
Live TV – all the options (7 companies + antenna)
Hybrids (like Hulu)
Streaming Services (from the giants to niche)
Hardware (boxes, sticks, soundbars, and TVs), etc.)
This event is open to anyone who needs advanced information on Cut the Cord. We will be meeting on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm for a beginner's class for people who are new to streaming.
Presenter:
Philip Bahr, Head of Adult Services at Fairfield Public Library, has lived without cable TV for over ten years. In 2014, Bahr created the Cut the Cord program, and most days is proud to be called, “the Cut the Cord guy.” He has curmudgeonly settled into a personal media viewing regime (aka watching TV and movies) at home on an addictive OLED screen. He continues to be excited to share the wealth of knowledge and research he discovers on current media options for the public.
