Please join us for Visions & Variations, our Spring Soundwaves concert featuring the Library's trio-in-residence, Lions Gate Trio.  Katie Lansdale on violin, Darrett Adkins on cello, and Florence Millet on piano will present an exquisite pairing of a well-known masterpiece with a forgotten treasure.

Beethoven's artfully-designed Kakadu Variations are beloved all over the world for their humor and nobility.  But in the wake of the success of Cesar Franck's expansive choral and orchestral works, his radiant Trio No. 1 languished in obscurity--a diamond glittering in the sand--until it was rediscovered.  

Mark your calendar now for this one-of-a-kind musical event, which will be followed by light refreshments and a chance to meet the musicians.
