Andy Piascik's book, co-authored with Steve Thornton, includes narratives of social movements that have changed our state and country for the better. It features people from all walks of life who joined the struggle for freedom and equality, with a fresh look at history that can offer hope and spark engagement for an increasingly complex world.

Andy Piascik is a Bridgeport native, long-time activist and award-winning author. He has written four books and writes for
many publications and websites.
