Program Description

Description

Join us to enjoy a summer full of wild and fantastical fun through this series of in-person, virtual, and DIY classes! Each week’s class will explore a different topic through activities inspired by this year’s Summer Reading theme: Tails and Tales. (Please see below specific details for this class).

This event will be *IN PERSON* at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library (1147 Fairfield Woods Road, Fairfield, CT 06825). Caregivers must remain on the property during the program.

Registration is required and is separate for each class each week. Please only register for one of the class dates each week since the same class is offered four times (In person at the Woods Branch at 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday; virtual on Zoom at 11:00 am on Wednesday; and supply pickup only (no live class) at 2:00 pm on Thursday). Space is limited. Registration opens on Monday, July 12.

TUESDAY AUGUST 3: LION NOTEHOLDER

Did you know that the roar of a lion can be heard from 5 miles away? Join us to learn about lions and create your own lion noteholder! We will practice basic paper quilling techniques to make special manes for our lions.

All necessary supplies will be provided.

For children entering grades K-5. Registration is required.

By registering for an in-person program, you agree that everyone attending in your family unit, ages two and up, will wear a mask and practice social distancing. It is recommended that you bring a blanket to sit on.
