View the photography of David Pressler on display in the Kershner Gallery and Periodicals Room to complement The Library Suite, an original jazz composition by Mark Edinberg which will premiere the next day at the Pequot Library. Listen to live jazz played by Mark Edinberg on piano in the Periodicals Room and meet and greet the artists and performers of The Library Suite: Mark Edinberg, Dan Edinberg, Joel Edinberg and David Pressler. Enjoy light refreshments.

Part of Jazzed Up! - Jazzed Up! is a partnership between the Fairfield Public Library and the Pequot Library funded by a Regional Initiative Grant through the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development and awarded to the Friends of the Fairfield Public Library. Mark Edinberg, PhD, is a Fairfield resident and ardent library supporter. Mark initiated the idea of composing a jazz piece that celebrates libraries and enlisted local artist and fellow library enthusiast Dave Pressler to provide the visual context for his composition through photography. The result is The Library Suite.
