Gone in August: Virtual Discussion of Pete Hamill and Snow In August

Celebrated journalist, novelist, essayist and editor Pete Hamill passed in August of this year.  His career as a writer spanned decades.  He covered politics, sports, and arts in several New York City newspapers and wrote novels, short stories, screenplays, biographies, and memoirs. Included among his works is the national best-selling novel Snow in August. We will briefly revisit Pete Hamill’s life and career, followed by a discussion of Snow In August to be facilitated by baseball historian and author Michael Bielawa.
