Program Description

Description

Let’s celebrate Computer Science Education Week! Join us for an Hour of Code activity that aims to introduce participants to computer science basics using block-based coding. Participants will follow the online self-guided tutorial called Dance Party: AI Edition to choreograph a virtual dance party using drag-and-drop coding blocks. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.

For children in grades 3-5. Registration is required. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, November 21.

In order to provide the best learning environment for all participants, we are unable to allow access, regardless of registration, if you arrive 10 minutes after the program starts.
