Program Description

Description

The Center for Family Justice will once again be hosting their annual “Speaking of Women” luncheon this September at The Waterview in Monroe, CT. Best-selling author and youth advocate Steve Pemberton will be this year’s keynote speaker, discussing his book The Lighthouse Effect.

Fairfield Public Library is proud to partner with CFJ in advance of their event by offering the community a chance to learn more about the organization and how anyone can become a “human lighthouse” to others in need. Copies of The Lighthouse Effect are available at the Library in both print and digital form; make it one of your summer reads and come discuss the book with your community.

The Center for Family Justice provides free, confidential, trauma-informed services for anyone experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, or child abuse. CFJ serves Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.  To learn more, go to www.centerforfamilyjustice.org.
