Please join us as we welcome Joyce Maynard whose gorgeous novel, How the Light Gets In, will be published by Morrow on June 24, 2024. This eagerly anticipated follow-up to her bestselling Count the Ways, one of 2021’s most beloved books, returns to three generations of a complex family and most especially to its matriarch, Eleanor. Fifty years after the New York Times Magazine feature that first made her a household name, Maynard–-one of American fiction’s premiere chroniclers of the heart -has written a generational saga that touches on many issues.
