Virtual Tails and Tales: Snail Slime

Join us to enjoy a summer full of wild and fantastical fun through this series of virtual classes! Each week’s class will explore a different topic through activities inspired by this year’s Summer Reading theme: Tails and Tales.

Through curbside pickup, all registered participants will need to pick up a bag of supplies that will be used to complete the class’s activity. Supply pickup for the take and make will be at either the Main Library (1080 Old Post Road) or the Fairfield Woods Branch Library (1147 Fairfield Woods Road). Please see below for specific details on where to pick up the supply bag. 

This event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your Android/Apple device or the Zoom program onto your computer. Participants will receive a reminder e-mail with the event’s unique Zoom meeting ID information, which they will need to join from home.

Registration is required and is separate for each class each week. Please only register for one of the class dates each week since the same class is offered four times (In person at the Woods Branch at 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday; virtual on Zoom at 11:00 am on Wednesday; and supply pickup only (no live class) at 2:00 pm on Thursday). Space is limited. Registration opens on Monday, June 14.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 7: SNAIL SLIME

Tails can be slimy, too! Snail tails are super slimy! Join us for a story and create your own snail slime!

All of the materials needed will be supplied.

For children entering grades K-5. Registration is required.
