Program Description

Description

As holidays approach, kids and parents alike are excited to participate in all of the fun activities and events that are hosted both at home and at school. While holiday celebrations can be a good thing, the reality is that all that hustle and bustle means schedules are out of whack, bed times get pushed back, and routines are disrupted. As a result, it is inevitable that our families feel some degree of holiday stress. For children who are navigating so many changes already in today's world, the holidays can be particularly challenging. During this webinar, presenters from The Hangout Spot, a Connecticut behavior analytic social skills development center, will review behavior analytic strategies you can use to not only help your child survive the holiday season but also support your child to experience true social success instead.

This event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your Android/Apple device or the Zoom program onto your computer.

Registration is required and closes at 4:30 pm on the day of the event. After registration closes, participants will receive an e-mail with the event's unique Zoom meeting ID information, which they will need to join from home. Space is limited. Registration opens three weeks before the date of the event.

*For the safety of all our patrons, we need to be aware of who is joining. We ask that you please use your actual name when joining our events through Zoom.
