Description
In honor of Money Smart Week, we are challenging you to create a piece of art on a budget. We will give you a library bucks budget and you pick the art supply items you would like to purchase with your library bucks. We provide you with your selected crafty items and you use those items (and only those items) to create a piece of art. We will meet on Zoom for an art show where participants will get the chance to vote for their favorite piece. An Amazon gift card will be awarded to the artist whose piece receives the most votes.
***PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ITEMS ON THE SUPPLY LIST. The prices assigned are for the purpose of practicing to work within an assigned budget.
Registration Required. For Grades 6-12
**Money Smart Week is a national public education program coordinated by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and delivered by a network of supporters that empowers people with the knowledge and skills to make better-informed personal financial decisions around the key financial pillars of saving, spending, borrowing and planning
