Have you ever thought about taking up metal detecting as a fun and fascinating hobby? Long-time water hunter and Library employee Joey "PI Joe" Ortega will share experiences from his many years of metal detecting. He'll talk about how some of the basic equipment works, share stories of his great finds and answer your questions about this interesting pastime. Joe has been an employee at the Library for 31 years. He has been water hunting since 2001 and is well known in metal detecting circles worldwide.
