Let's try our hand at making challah bread-it may not be perfect, but it will be our best ever (so far!) We will read Bubbie & Rivka's Best-Ever Challah (So Far!) by Sarah Lynne Reul and learn about Shabbat, a Jewish tradition and that "practice makes progress." Caregiver participation is required as this event will require hands-on cooking in the kitchen.

For children in grades K-5. Registration is required and opens on Wednesday, January 11 at 9:00 am. Please only register for one of the class dates as the same class is offered two times (Wednesday, February 1 at 4:00 pm and Thursday, February 2 at 6:30 pm). Space is limited.

Please email sbergstrom@fplct.org with any concerns about ingredients. All registered participants will need to pick up a bag of ingredients that will be used to complete the class’s activity. (Please see below specific details for the class).

This event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your Android/Apple device or the Zoom program onto your computer. About two hours before the class, participants will receive an e-mail with the event’s unique Zoom meeting ID information, which they will need to join from home.
