Virtual Good Eats Family Book Club

Let's celebrate the infamous global food phenomenon, the gloriously melty cheesy delicacy... pizza! Join us as we read Pizza! A Slice of History by Greg Pizzoli and cook our own individual pizza together over Zoom. Caregiver participation is required as this event will require hands-on cooking in your kitchen. The library provides a pickup bag of ingredients that are available the week of the event, see below for details.

For children in grades K-5. Registration is required and opens on Wednesday, August 30 at 9:00 am. Please only register for one of the class dates as the same class is offered two times (Wednesday, September 20 at 4:00 pm and Thursday, September 21 at 6:30 pm). Space is limited.

Please email sbergstrom@fplct.org with any concerns about ingredients. All registered participants will need to pick up a bag of ingredients that will be used to complete the class’s activity. Supply Pickup will begin on Tuesday, September 19th from 9am the Fairfield Woods Branch Library only (1147 Fairfield Woods Road, Fairfield, CT 06825). You will receive an e-mail with details.

This event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your Android/Apple device or the Zoom program onto your computer. About two hours before the class, participants will receive an e-mail with the event’s unique Zoom meeting ID information, which they will need to join from home.
