Program Description

Description

Join Ms. Stefanie as we eat our way through this fantastic family read! Together we will read the brand-new book Tofu Takes Time by Helen H. Wu and make a delicious fried tofu dish! Caregiver participation is required as this event will require hands-on cooking in the kitchen.

For children in grades K-5. Registration is required and opens on Tuesday, April 12 at 9:00 am. Please only register for one of the class dates this week since the same class is offered two times (Tuesday, May 3 at 6:30 pm and Thursday, May 5 at 4:00 pm). Space is limited.

Please email sbergstrom@fplct.org with any concerns about ingredients. Through curbside pickup, all registered participants will need to pick up a bag of ingredients that will be used to complete the class’s activity. (Please see below specific details for the class).

This event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your Android/Apple device or the Zoom program onto your computer. About two hours before the class, participants will receive an e-mail with the event’s unique Zoom meeting ID information, which they will need to join from home.

*For the safety of all our patrons, we need to be aware of who is joining. We ask that you please use your child's first name when joining our events through Zoom.

**CURBSIDE PICKUP FOR SUPPLIES FOR THIS CLASS DATE:

Wednesday, May 4 from 9:00am-8:00pm at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library only (1147 Fairfield Woods Road, Fairfield, CT 06825)
