Virtual Earth Day Upcycle

In celebration of Earth Day, we will first read One Plastic Bag: Isatou Ceesay and the Recycling Women of the Gambia by Miranda Paul. Then, during our environmentally conscious craft time, you will upcycle and repurpose one of your t-shirts, creating a no-sew, reusable tote bag! To participate, you will need a t-shirt and scissors (optional: ruler and pencil).

This event will be hosted through Zoom, a virtual meeting service. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your Android/Apple device or the Zoom program onto your laptop/desktop computer. For families with children in grades K-5. No registration is required. This event is provided courtesy of the NASA @ My Library Grant.
