Fairfield Public Library is happy to participate in the programming for Eastern Connecticut State University’s community read of Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea. ECSU has been named a recipient of a $15,000 grant to host the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read. In 2010, Fairfield chose Into the Beautiful North for our own One Book One Town program. It is wonderful to have a chance to celebrate this book again as a community partner.
