Program Description

Description

Learn how equine-assisted activities positively benefit cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with special needs.  Hosted by Lynn Peters, Registered Instructor and Volunteer Director. Therapeutic riding can produce remarkably improved mobility, balance, posture, coordination, language development, behavior control and concentration. Pegasus is a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International Premier Accredited Center with three chapters throughout Putnam and Fairfield counties. Pegasus serves students ages four and up, including a program for military Veterans.  Parents or caregivers of individuals with special needs or difficulties will find the program especially informative.
