We welcome Dr. Mark Schenker back to the library for his popular Talking About Books series. This year Dr. Schenker will be discussing two novellas from Irish author Claire Keegan.

Foster (2010; 2022)
Small Things Like These (2021)

Each novella is less than 100 pages. There are print versions available in both locations and hoopla has the novellas in ebook and digital audiobook format. There are never any waits for digital titles on hoopla.

A gifted teacher and speaker, Dr. Mark Schenker has led book and film discussions in Connecticut for more than 30 years and has given numerous lectures on writers and their works. He is a Senior Associate Dean at Yale College and Dean of Academic Affairs, as well as being a lecturer in in the English Department.
