Ready for a fun D.I.Y. project? Grab a kit at the Library, and then, at your convenience, pull up the instructional video on our YouTube Channel to complete the project. 

D.I.Y. Take and Make kits will be at BOTH the Main Library (1080 Old Post Road, upstairs in the Children’s Department) AND the Fairfield Woods Branch Library (1147 Fairfield Woods Road, inside). Please see below for specific details. Kits will be available when the Library opens while supplies last--first come, first served.

Saturday, February 4, 2023 - Make a Paper Rocket Ship! To celebrate Black History Month and the accomplishments of Dr. Mae C. Jemison, engineer, physician, and former NASA astronaut, we'll make a rocket ship that you can launch into the sky! To do this craft, you will need your own scissors and tape. Coloring materials are optional.
