Nearly half of Connecticut companies do not offer a retirement savings plan for employees. To fill that gap, the Office of the State Comptroller is offering MyCTSavings, a retirement savings program for employees, with no cost to employers to sign up. MyCTSavings was created by law to meet this urgent need. If you own a business with 5 or more employees and do not offer a qualified retirement savings plan, you are required by law to register for MyCTSavings.

The following will be covered:

  • The business owner’s role in registering and signing up for this program.
  • The benefits for employees and employers.
  • The options available for employees to participate or opt out.
  • Resources available to support, educate and advise employees and employers.

Prior to the Workshop:

If you are an employer that has been contacted by MYCTSavings, you are especially encouraged to come with your questions or share your experience!
