In Person Chess Club

Chess is one of the oldest and most popular board games! Interested in learning how to play? Join us for Chess Club, where new players will learn and practice the rules of the game and basic strategies.

For children in grades 2-5 who are beginner chess players. Registration is required and is separate for each class date. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens three weeks before each class date.

In order to provide the best learning environment for all participants we are unable to allow access, regardless of registration, if you arrive 10 minutes after the program starts.
