Learn about the exciting sport of Pack Burro Racing, begun in Colorado in the 19th-century as prospectors raced to stake their claims. The sport lives on today as seen in the One Book One Town selection, Running with Sherman as Sherman trains to run the World Championship Pack Burro Race. Janine Jacques will talk about modern day burro racing and share her experiences with these special animals.
