Description

Come to Fairfield University to meet a rescue donkey and hear about Ray of Light Farm’s rescue efforts and animal therapy programs. Ray of Light Farm in East Haddam, CT is both an animal rescue and animal therapy farm. Every year thousands of horses and donkeys are abandoned, abused or slaughtered. Ray of Light Farm serves as a safe haven, providing medical care, nutritious food and training. One of their greatest accomplishments has been bringing people and animals together. The farm is open to the public and the animals are available and happy to listen to anyone in need of a friend.
