National Voter Registration Day

National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday dedicated to celebrating our democracy. Since its kickoff in 2012, the holiday and its team of thousands of Partners have worked to get over 5 million Americans registered to vote in time for their next trip to the ballot box.

After their work in 2024 to help over 820,000 Americans ensure their readiness to take part in the last presidential election, the National Voter Registration Day team is shifting gears to focus on getting every eligible American registered and #VoteReady for the thousands of state and local races happening up and down the ballot in 2025.

Celebrated each September, National Voter Registration Day involves dedicated Partners of every stripe from all over the country hitting the streets for a single star-spangled awesome day of coordinated field, digital, and media action focused squarely on growing our shared democracy.

We will have volunteers on the main floor of Fairfield Woods Branch Library signing people up to vote! Come join us and register to vote.
