Raising Money Confident Kids: Building Financial Foundations for Life

Presented by Julina Ogilvie, Author of Money Confident Girls

In today's world, equipping children with essential money skills is one of the greatest gifts we can offer. This seminar, inspired by Julina Ogilvie's book Money Confident Girls, expands the conversation to include all children, focusing on how early financial education shapes lifelong habits and mindsets around money.

Through real-life examples, practical strategies, and engaging storytelling, Julina will guide parents, caregivers, and educators in teaching kids the four core pillars of financial literacy: earning, saving, spending, and investing. Attendees will explore how to make money a comfortable, open topic at home and learn how early lessons—from allowances and budgeting to understanding debit cards and custodial accounts—can help kids grow into confident, capable adults. We will also touch on tools for college savings, introducing investment concepts, and how to help kids develop a healthy, empowered relationship with money in a world full of financial complexity.

Whether your child is learning to count coins or managing their first job, this seminar will offer the insights and tools needed to help them take ownership of their financial future—starting today.

Registration is required. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, September 4. Books will be available to purchase at the time of the event.
