Description

Fairfield saw many changes in the twentieth century. Join the Fairfield Museum’s Walt Matis for a special walking tour focused on downtown Fairfield. Explore the development of the business corridor along Post Road, discover the changes in landscape for the beach area, and reminisce about the Fairfield Store, Mercurio’s, Blinn’s, Life Gallery & more.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We will be walking and standing for extended periods. Total walking distance will be about 0.8 mile.
