Let’s celebrate Computer Science Education Week! Join us for an Hour of Code activity that aims to introduce participants to computer science basics using block-based coding. Participants will follow the online self-guided tutorial called Hello World: Emoji, which is an emoji-themed introductory activity using drag-and-drop coding blocks. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
For children in grades 3-5. Registration is required. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, November 20. Please note that failure to cancel at least 24 hours before the event or not attending the event at all will result in a limited ability to register for future events.
