Program Description

Description

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the flood of news and information online? We’ll talk about how to evaluate news sources so you can separate fact from fiction and become a more informed and discerning consumer of news. Discover practical techniques that will empower you to identify credible sources, detect misleading content, and navigate the digital landscape with confidence.

Jennifer Mottolese is the Research & Outreach Librarian at Fairfield University’s DiMenna-Nyselius Library where she works closely with students, faculty, and staff to connect with them with information resources so they can achieve their academic goals. She holds a master’s degree in library and information science from Southern Connecticut State University, and a master’s degree in history from Fordham University.
