Program Description
Description
Join us for an hour to learn about computer science by coding in Scratch. Scratch is a block-based visual coding language. We will be following Google’s Hour of Code activity, Animate a Name. You will follow the self-guided modules to code your name and bring the letters to life through animation, sound, and music. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
For children in grades 2-5. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Children's Library during the program. Registration is required. Space is limited. Register in-person, online or by phone starting Thursday, November 28. Snacks will be provided.
