Traumatic e-bike and e-scooter injuries are on the rise. Kids on e-bikes and e-scooters are ending up in emergency rooms with broken bones, head injuries, burns from battery fires, or worse, sometimes in just a split second. Hear firsthand from those on the front lines: Police and Fire Department, first responders, and ER doctors share their experiences, insights, and hard lessons learned.

Learn the rules of the road when it comes to these fast-moving electric bikes & scooters.

Gain insight on local laws, essential safety gear, and fire risks from lithium batteries.

Tips to encourage children to ride responsibly.

This event is an initiative of the Fairfield Safe Streets Alliance, an outreach program designed to enhance road safety for all residents by creating greater awareness of personal behavior through education, reduce the number of injuries and fatalities by slowing down our rate of speed, changing behavior through alignment with the principles of Vision Zero, and foster a shared commitment to driving, biking, walking or using other vehicles (motorcycles, e-bikes, scooters) in a responsible and courteous manner.
