Program Description
Description
College brings newfound independence and with that freedom comes the challenge of managing distractions, staying on top of deadlines, and advocating for yourself. In this session, we’ll explore key executive function skills—self-advocacy, attention/focus, self-regulation, and planning and prioritizing. These, and other skills, help students stay organized, motivated, and successful in college. Whether you're a high school senior preparing for the transition, a current college student looking for strategies to improve your academic experience, or a parent of these students, this engaging presentation will provide actionable tips to help you stay on track.
Hannah Choi, Executive Function Coach for Beyond BookSmart, will lead the presentation and answer your questions.
Registration required. Open to grades 11- Adult.
